Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 11:31 am

I wanted to follow up after last weeks special update on oil and what clues were there prior to the recent move up.

I also found an interesting follow up to the USD/JPY chart posted last weekend to answer the question, “Will price find resistance at the upper sliding parallel once again?”

These are the type of special updates I plan on passing along during the week as part of the chart subscription service I will be launching this weekend.  Enjoy the rest of the week!

ML Futures Update – new report

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 6:12 am

Well, the best laid plans….

This weekend didn’t go as planned.  My wife got the flu and I spent most of the time entertaining the kids!  That being said, I am sending out a free update of the futures charts and the new weekly futures report.

I plan to continue to convert my site to a paid subscription and the tentative plans would be for that to happen next weekend before the next update.

 Enjoy the charts!

ML Currencies update – new report

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 9:11 pm
First of all, I have busy creating the subscription portion of my site and I know you will find immense value.  It is not ready to release just yet, so I wanted to pass along the currencies chart updates.

Also, I will be adding a weekly report feature for the currencies as well as the futures.  Below you will find a link to the first weekly report as a sample of what will be available with the monthly subscription.  The report is meant to add more commentary to what I see on the charts.  I plan to pick a few charts out of what I typically post that had something interesting worth noting during the previous week.

Tomorrow I plan to implement the password protected pages to my site.  So, if you hurry you can get a look at this weeks currencies charts for free!  If all goes well, I will get the protected pages up and then post the futures charts.  If not, I will send out the futures charts and report for free as well.  The futures report includes the Dow and e-mini S&P daily and 60 minute charts as well as oil and gold.

Once again the rates for the subscription site will be:
Currencies only: $19.95 per month
Futures only: $19.95 per month
Currencies and futures: $34.95 per month

With the subscription, you will get updated charts and report once a week (usually on the weekends) with special updates from time to time when I see something interesting.

ML currencies and futures chart update 08/31

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 8:16 pm
I just updated my currencies and futures charts illustrating Median Line techniques for 08/31/09.  I usually try to get the charts posted over the weekend, but his past weekend we traveled to my hometown to celebrate my parents 40th wedding anniversay.

After several months of offering free charts, I have decide to convert my website to a paid chart subscription service.  This coming weekend (Labor Day here in the US), I will begin converting to password protected pages.  The chart subscriptions will be offered with payment through PayPal at a monthly rate.

The rates will be:
Currencies only: $19.95 per month
Futures only: $19.95 per month
Currencies and futures: $34.95 per month

I will update the charts once a week (usually on the weekends) with special updates during the week when I see something interesting developing.

The objective of the chart updates will be as they have been:
1) To provide a descriptive process in how to draw Median Lines and their parallels
2) To add in choosing the correct pivots in which to draw Median Lines and their parallels
3) A description analysis of price action and their interaction with Median Lines and their parallels
4) What If? scenarios that I see from time to time when I see lines converge
5) I always like to add something interesting such as action/reaction lines

I will be adding an archive of previous updates so the thought process from previous charts can be followed.  I have plans to add additional information as time goes on about some research I am currently working on.

I truly appreciate the input that I have received over the last several months.  I hope you have enjoyed the free charts and choose to invest in continued education.  I will likely continue to post a limited number of free charts on my site as well.

ML currencies and futures chart update 08/23

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 7:44 pm

I just updated my currencies and futures charts illustrating Median Line techniques for 08/23/09. I am finding out that I simply do not have the time to post stocks/ETF charts, so I have removed them from my site. Maybe in the future I will find some time to bring them back. Now to the charts!

I think the stock indices surprised many when it broke up through the .382 retracement from the October 2007 highs, but not to anyone following the Median Line charts! There may be some life left in the stock indices. I truly believe stocks are in a bear market rally that will end soon – just not quite yet. I am watching to see if price is drawn to the area of confluence the end of August/first part of September at the .500 retracements on the Dow and S&P.

Oil broke to new yearly highs this last week as well. Gold also had an up day on Friday and looks to move up further short term. Is it sustainable? Depends on the US dollar. Many of the currencies are at important lines that will dictate near term market direction. Maybe a little weakness in the US dollar short term before it strengthens? It should be an interesting week.

ML currencies charts updated 08/17

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 11:20 am

I just updated my currencies charts illustrating Median Line techniques for 08/17/09.

When I was going through the charts a little over a week ago, I kept seeing a recurring theme on many that encouraged me to write, “dollar up” on a number of my personal charts after looking at many of the currencies and commodity charts.  That has certainly been playing out in these markets since.  Gold, oil, and the grains have shown weakness.  The dollar has strengthened against most of the currencies.  Will it last?

ML futures chart update 08/15

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 8:49 am
I finally got around to updating some of the charts.  I updated the futures page and found a lot of interesting price action.

  1. Gold prices had been contained in the blue ML I drew in at the last update on 07/25 until the end of this past week.
  2. The 30 year treasuries chart gave a pleasant surprise when price was attracted to an area of confluence and reversed.
  3. I am still intently watching the stock indices charts.  If the areas of confluence act as price attractors, they could have another spurt upward the end of August.
  4. The soybean chart looks to have a lot of room downward if the area of confluence acts as a price attractor.
  5. With all the talk of inflation or not (depending on who is talking) – has oil made its highs for the year?
I will try and get the other pages updated soon.

Slow to update ML charts

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 7:42 pm
OK, I know I have been slow to get my Median Line charts updated.  The end of summer always brings a flurry of family activities and this summer is no different.  I haven’t had the time to focus on the charts as of late and only post if I feel like I can focus enough to provide something of value.

Sorry this is not a chart update – I hope to get to that soon.

I did run across some information recently that I found some value in so I thought I would share.  Though I haven’t studied Elliott Wave theory to any degree, I do follow some of the work at Elliott Wave International.  They recently released a 45-page e-book “The Best of Traders Classroom – Improve Your Success With 14 Actionable Lessons in Trading” for free through August 17th.

I especially like the article, “Trading in the Zone: The Best Place for High Opportunity Trade Set-ups”.  It definitely made me think of how to apply Median Lines in these “zones”.  I asked myself, “What if price met a Median Line or MLH in one of these “zones”?”  Hmmm…

It is definitely worth a look, the link will take you to a page with more information:

Improve Your Success With 14 Actionable Lessons in Trading

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the article and take some thing away from it.  I will get back to the charts soon…..I hope.

ML chart update – coil-bound paperback book available

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 8:34 pm
I have updated all my charts for the week ending 07/25/09.  A lot of interesting action in the markets this week – especially in the equities.  I drilled down to the 60 minute charts on some of the futures and stocks/ETF’s to get a better picture.

Based on several requests, I am now offering a coil-bound paperback version of my books in addition to a PDF e-book.  My wife redesigned the covers since I am a bit “graphic arts challenged”.  I also changed my merchant to PayPal.  The E-book will be e-mailed upon purchase rather than an immediate download as I have had several “hackers” find my download page and steal the E-books.  Please visit my book page and check out the new cover design!:
